John Wesley Kirby Sr.

John Wesley Kirby Jr., 82, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was born December 18, 1931 in Columbus, son of the late John Wesley and Helen Benadum Kirby Sr.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Gerri Walp.
He is survived by his children, Kristie (Jeff) Morris, Keith Kirby and Greg Kirby; sister, Viola (Bill) Gilliland; grandchildren, Travis Harvey and Adam Morris; longtime friend, Fredia Reedy and nephews and cousins.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct. Hilliard, OH 43026.
