Jon R. Cupp went to his heavenly home on August 24, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born on March 14, 1937 to Harry and Louise Cupp.
He retired from Lennox Industries after 25 years of service. Jon enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, hunting, bluegrass gospel music, Ohio State Football, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Louise Cupp, brother, Henry Cupp, sister, Phyllis Cupp, son, Jon Simcox, and son in law, Jeff Jameson.
Jon is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Mitchell, Linda (Richard) Stottlemyer, Kim Jameson, Lisa (Rick) Evans, Maria Peacock and son, James Cupp. Survived by very dear special friend, Lori Cannon. Jon had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family welcomes friends and loved ones on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A funeral service with Pastor Gary Kirk, will begin at 12:00pm before interment at Mifflin Cemetery at 1:00pm.
