Joseph B. Pearson, 86, of Columbus, OH passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Columbus, OH on November 13, 1927, to Morris M. and Marie (Sterling) Pearson Sr. and is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Morris Jr., Robert and David Pearson.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jo Ann (Forester) Pearson; son, Daniel Pearson; sister, Louise Pearson; brothers, Harry (Debra) Pearson and Eugene Pearson; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Joe was a veteran of WWII, worked for the State of Ohio and was a longtime member of McKendree United Methodist Church.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 3-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to McKendree United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 3330 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43224.
