Joseph "Joe" M. Black, 58, of Westerville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Forest Hills Nursing Care Center.

He was born February 24, 1956 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Marshall and Joann (Berns) Black.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, John Black.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha Mullins Black; daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Beard; son, Jeremy (Krissy) Black; stepdaughter, Danielle (Jason) Armistead; stepson Sterling Bailey; sister, Jill (Bob) Seelbinder; brothers, Jeff (Jan) Black and Jamie (Barb) Black; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Roark and Sheila (Frank) Stance; brothers-in-law, Glen (Mary) Mullins, Tony Mullins, Dondi (Marty) Mullins and Phil (Paula) Mullins; grandchildren, Zack, Jayci, Jett and Larissa.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 12:00-3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.

Inurnment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens.

Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's walk on September 20, 2014 Alz.org Meet Joe Black Team.

Joe was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing and gardening. Joe will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
