Joseph Debije, 88, passed away on June 24, 2017. He was born on June 6, 1929 in Nuth, Netherlands.
Joseph was a veteran serving in the Royal Dutch Army. Joseph worked at Igel Construction and Jet Stadium. He retired from Scioto Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willem and Maria Debije, sister, Ennie Doktor, brother Coen Debije, daughter, Anita Debije and son-in-law, David McClelland.
Surviving family includes daughters, Yvonne (Joe) Carroll, Sonja (Scott) Paul, Diana McClelland, Linda (Bobb) Basye, Debbie (Jake) Debije, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister, Truus (Lei) de Liege, companion, Gerda Rothkrans and his dog Vincent.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be directed to Palliative/Hospice at Mount Carmel West Hospital or to the Capital Area Humane Society.
Per his wish cremation will take place.
