August 15, 1927 — October 26, 2014
Joseph Edmund Pettay, Jr., 87, passed away October 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Pettay, Sr. and Hattie Pettay; Lillian Neil; son, Gene Neil; and sister, Donna Topolski.
Survived by son, Joseph Neil; sister, Ellen (Skip) Ricail; brother-in-law, Tom Topolski; furry companion, Buddy; and many other relatives and neighbors. Retired from Stapleton's Auto Parts after of 42 years; 32nd Degree Mason; enjoyed working on automobiles, fishing and helping others with their troubles in their time of need; WWII Army Veteran.
A special thank you to Monterey Care Center and hospice for their care.
Visitation Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite Hospice organization.
