Joseph H. Dotson, 71, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Columbus, OH. He was born on November 16, 1944 in Williamson, WV to Joseph and Lonia Dotson.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tronnie Dotson; and sisters, Lilly Robertson, Creeta Faso, and Helen Bevins.
He is survived by his children, Bill (Laurie) Dotson, Bobby Dotson, Lisa (Jon) Coakley, Jeremy (Heather) Taber, and Jilian Davis; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill Dotson, Ocie (Fred) Harris, James Dotson, Cecil (Linda) Dotson, Arnetta (Nelson) Hane, and Larry (Carla) Dotson; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 followed by Funeral Services at 1:00pm.
