Joseph Kunz Jr., 94, of Westerville, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Edgewood Manor.
He was born March 28, 1921 in Columbus, son of the late Joseph and Edith Clark Kunz Sr.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Whitten Kunz; son, David Kunz; brothers, Frank, Vernon, Charles and John Kunz; sister, Martha Scowden.
He served in the Army during WWII.
Joseph is survived by his sons, Daniel J. (Ellen) Kunz and Donald M. Kunz; daughter, Carolyn (Ronald) Thomann; grandchildren, Danny, Angie, Kathy, Tammy, Cindy, Dusty, Jacob, Rachael, Nick, Cierra, Maci, Erin, Sami, Penny; great grandchildren, J.J., Jacoby and Hunter.
Visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
