Josephine Louise Farthing

Josephine Louise Farthing, age 90, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on October 15, 2026.

Josephine was born on January 12, 1936 to the late Everett and Marie Brown in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, David Jordan Sr, second husband, Robert Farthing, brothers, Buddy, Bobby, Eugene, twin sister, Joann (Stan) Bowan, son, David (Karen) Jordan Jr, daughter’s-in-law, Rhonda and Pam Jordan.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Stephan Jordan, Tim Jordan, Cindy (Gary) Massey, Lisa (Bill) Crisp, special niece, Cathy Hayes, 7 grandkids, 17 great-grandkids, 5 great-great grandkids and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Josephine loved spending long weekends camping in Tennessee or at Loretta Lynn’s ranch. She enjoyed bowling and square dancing. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call at Glen Rest Memorial Estates for a graveside service at 10am on Saturday, October 31, 2026 with Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
