Joy "Porky" A. Dotters, 64, of Orient, Ohio passed away suddenly on Friday, October 28, 2016. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Byrd and Pauline Evans on July 27, 1952. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Phil Evans.
Joy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Patrick Dotters; daughters, Tina (Bobby) Garrett and Toni (Jason) Caudill; grandchildren, Laura and John Brady; Lena, Logan , Hunter and Brooke Garrett; Makayla and Brianna Caudill; great-granddaughter, Addison Schuler. Joy's loss will be felt deeply by many other friends and family members who are too numerous to name.
Joy worked at Kroger as the head meat clerk for 30 plus years. She will be missed by many of her co-workers at Kroger.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a friend to all.
She loved to spend time at the casinos. She loved to go motorcycle riding with her husband. She was an avid collector and focused on Pepsi and pigs. She loved life to the fullest. She never met a stranger. She talked to everyone and everyone was a friend.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Friday November 4 from 6-8 pm. A second visitation will be held on Saturday November 5 from 11 am- 1 pm. A funeral ceremony will follow immediately after the Saturday visitation.
