Joyce A. Mayhugh, 80, passed away, due to complications from a fall, on May 26, 2016. Joyce was born on May 21, 1936, in Pikeville, KY to the late Eugene and Mary (Patridge) Compton.
Joyce was a member of TOPS and a member of Maize Road Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, James W. Mayhugh; brothers, Oral, Rick, Ray, John, Charles "Red"; sister, Janelle Richter. She is survived by her son, Michael (Cindy) Mayhugh, of Williamsport, OH; daughter, Jennifer (John) Lindsay, of Columbus, OH; granddaughters, Jayme (Brandan) Rausch, of Williamsport, OH and Kayla Mayhugh of Williamsport, OH and Fiancé Kyle Smith of Commercial Point; step-grandchildren, Jamie Lindsay, of Columbus and Jenna Lindsay, of Columbus; great-granddaughter, Avery Rausch, of Williamsport, OH; sisters, Ellen Smith of Ironton, OH, Judy Cobb, Bedford, TX, Norma Lofland, Hamilton, OH; brother, Dewitt Compton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 5:30 PM with Visitation from 3:30 – 5:30 at Maize Road Baptist Church, 4251 Maize Road, Columbus, OH 43224 with Pastor Brett Castle officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice of Central Ohio.
