Joyce Mathews, 79, of Columbus, OH, passed away on March 26, 2016. She was born on May 16, 1936. Joyce was a graduate of Central High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart and Nora Jaynes, brothers, Robert Jaynes, Jim Jaynes.
Surviving family includes children, Teresa (Greg) Martin, Robin Mathews, John Mathews, Melissa (Aaron) Turrill, Patsy (John) Parks, grandchildren, Scott Martin, Nathan and Brittany Kotur, John (Emily) Mathews, Taylor Mathews, Kyle Turrill, Kali Turrill, Johnny and Jacob Parks, great-grandchildren, Hunter Kotur, Tyler and Hailey Mathews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Mount Carmel Hospice.
