Joyce Lynn Stoddard

Joyce Lynn Stoddard, age 82, passed away on January 30, 2026. Joyce was born on October 28, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Herbert and Mildred Hamilton.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Stoddard and sister, Barbara Murphy.

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Brent (Tanya) Stoddard and Trent (June) Stoddard.

Joyce was a 1962 graduate of South High School. After graduating, she attended Noni Modeling School and won the Miss Firefighter 1965.

Joyce ran her own childcare business for over 40 years where she lovingly looked over hundreds of children as if they were her own. She attended Madison Christian Church in Groveport.

The family would like to express appreciation for the staff at Carroll Place and The Ridge at Lancaster for the care they provided for Joyce.

She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 for calling hours from 2pm - 4pm with a funeral service starting at 4pm. A future interment will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery.
