Judy A. Downey, 68, Worthington, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. Judy was born in Cleveland, OH on November 22, 1945, to the late Russell and Eva (Biedenkapp) Stephan.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie A. (Brian) McCanna; brother, Gerald (Geraldine) Stephan; grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew and Joshua McCanna; nephews, Russell Stephan and Cary (Lynn) Stephan; great nieces, nephews, cousins; many friends including devoted and lifetime friends, Ann Miller and Tanya Sockman.
Judy was a beautiful, kind and strong woman who always went above and beyond for her family and friends. She was an exceptional mother and devoted grandmother. She loved to play family games which always included lots of laughter. She had a way with animals, especially with dogs, and recently rescued her most recent addition "Beau" from the shelter. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
At Judy's request, there will be no public services.
