Judy Lee Dean

Judy Lee Dean, 71, born March 19, 1954, loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister; passed away January 20, 2026 at home with family, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.

Judy graduated from North High School (Columbus) in 1972. She was employed by USPS where she worked for over 20 years, retiring in 2020.

Painting, crafting, and thrifting were three of her favorite hobbies and they brought her joy over the years.

Her infectious smile, wit, kindness, and positivity will truly be missed.

Preceded in death by mother and father, Betty (Fugitt) and Daniel Kelly.

Left to cherish her memory include sons, Brent Lake, Derek (Randee) Lake; grandson, Aydon Lake; sister, Joy “Toni” Dean; brothers, Glenn (Alice) Dean, Robert “Bob” (Connie) Dean, Michael (Megan) Kelly; sister, Erin Kelly Welch; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to her favorite hospice nurse, Michelle, whom she befriended and loved. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
