Judy A McDonald

Judy A McDonald, age 80 of Columbus, OH, passed away on July 3, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 15, 1946 to the late Harkes and Gracie (Jenkins) Copley in Ethel, WV. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Edith Lennex and grandson Dustin Lennex, brother Chester Copley, sisters Nora Mason, Bonnie Chambers, and Connie Brown. Judy is survived her loving husband of 28 years David McDonald, children Bill (Angie) Trein, Tim (Marcie) Trein, Mick Hewlett and Julie Ginn, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers Isom and Troy Copley.

Judy was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose home was always filled with love and constant change. If she wasn’t out hunting for a good deal "Shop lifting" as David would say, she was rearranging her home, famously redecorating every single week just to keep things fresh and beautiful. Her soft heart extended beyond her front door, as she never met a stray cat she wouldn’t feed. Judy brought a vibrant, caring energy to everyone around her, and her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched. Although she will be deeply missed we take comfort knowing she is at peace in the arms of her savior

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 8., 2026 at 1:00pm at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St. Galloway, OHl, we will meet at the office.
