Julia Grimm

Julia M. Grimm, 75, of Columbus, was received in the arms of her loving Lord Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Kobacker House surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 26, 1940 in Sophia, WV, daughter of the late Evan Preston and Emma Waycaster Maynard.

In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Grimm; brothers, Evan and Richard Maynard; sisters, Rose Shoupe, Peggy Pollock and Barbara Sombati.

She was committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to every person she met.

Julia had no limits or boundaries for her outreach and giving to others.

She is survived by her son, Richard "R.B." (Adriane) Sikute; daughter, Sherri (Daniel) Lowe; sister, Mary Minton; grandchildren, Quam, Deshaun and Aliana; beloved dog, Angel and a host of nieces, nephews and special lifelong friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery.

Julia had a sincere love for her family and was a true Angel on earth. She will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
