Julian "Carl" Metz

Julian "Carl" Metz, 75, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born in St. Louis, MO on June 3, 1938, to Edward and Mary Metz and is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jacqueline Metz; grandson, Jeremey McGuirk and two loving sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine (Luzader) Metz; daughters, Melissa (Jeffrey) McGuirk, Patricia (Thomas Bailey) Davey, Kristina McCann; sons, Edward Carl Metz, Terry (Natalie) Lindsay, Richard (Delilah) Hollis and Dakota Metz; sisters, Virginia "Aunt Dootsy" and Kathleen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren canine companion, "Sabrina"; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
