Karalee Curry, age 58, went to be with Jesus on August 5, 2019, after a hard-fought, year-long battle with metastasized lung cancer. Opting for palliative care, Karalee remained active and alert until her final days.
Karalee was born on June 2, 1961, in Zanesville, Ohio, the last of three daughters, to Joe and Sue Kelly, both deceased. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Chuck; sisters Kimbi (Howe) Clapper; Taci (Bruce) Walter; and other loving family members.
Karalee was devoted to her first love, Jesus, and her life revolved around following Him. She was an active member of Zion Christian Fellowship. She also founded the Columbus House Rabbit Society (CHRS), serving as chapter manager from 2002 to 2012.
A celebration of Karalee's life will be held at Zion Christian Fellowship, 10405 Sawmill Road, Powell, Ohio, 43065, at 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Donations in lieu of flowers will be accepted.
