Karen Campbell

March 3, 1949 — April 6, 2016

Karen Marsheen Campbell, 67 of Columbus, went to her new home in Heaven on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at The Kobacker House.

She was born March 3, 1949 in Hamilton, OH, daughter of the late R.B. and Edith Farmer Venable.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Campbell.

She was a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church of the Deaf where she loved to serve the Lord in many areas of the church.

Karen worked at Keepsake Theme Quilts as a productions assistant and seamstress.

She is survived by her daughter, Marsheen Campbell; sister, Sherry (Rich) Friedmann; nieces, Nicole, Amy and Amanda; nephews, Richard, Tim and Marc; ten great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville.

Karen was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
