Karen (Hayes) McDaniel, 61 of Columbus, passed away at Doctors West Hospital on February 4, 2014. Born on April 5, 1952 to the late Conrad and Ardelia (Ball) Hayes in Columbus, Ohio. She worked at Thrift stores of Ohio. Survived by her brothers Avery Dean Hayes, Winson Gene (Gayle) Hayes, Clerl Monroe Hayes and Loyal William Hayes, sisters Coe Emma (Jimmy) Gillette, Ellen Mariea (Jeff) Payne, special sister-in-law Nidia Hayes, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, friends and faithful companion Shadow. Preceded in death by her son Thomas Allan Fahner and brother Conrad Hayes.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4pm until time of service at 7pm with Pastor Ray Martin officiating.
