Karen Margene Weicht

Karen Weicht, 74, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1952, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Karen was known for her strong personality, determination, honesty, and sense of humor. She was a woman who knew what she wanted and was never afraid to express how she felt. She loved her family dearly and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karen enjoyed shopping, watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies, and spending time with her beloved dog, Boomer. She had a love for butterflies, frogs, the color blue, and Disney movies. Her collection of Disney DVDs was especially memorable to her grandchildren.

Some of Karen's happiest memories were the simple moments spent with family. She enjoyed going to Waffle House and Walmart, and her family will always cherish the laughter and memories made during those outings. Her sense of humor was one of a kind, and she had a special ability to find laughter in even the most unexpected moments.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Marchele and her husband, David; her son, Troy and his wife, Rhonda; her grandchildren, Ashley and her husband, Ray; Codey; Lacey and her husband, Ryan; and Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Arianna, Raeleigh, Ryland, and Wade.

She will be remembered for her laughter, honesty, determination, and the love she showed her family in her own special way. While she was a strong-willed woman who was not always easy, she was deeply loved and was an important part of her family's lives.

Her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the many ways she touched their lives.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 9am to 11am, October 23, 2026; at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A service to honor her life will be held at 11am on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Newcomer Northeast Chapel. 

Karen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
