Katharina Sasser, 89, passed away Dec. 18, 2016. She is survived by husband of 65 years, Casey Sasser; daughters, Renate (Thomas) Halbig; Elvia (Bob) Hill; grandchildren, Pamela (Jeff) Nierman, Cinnamon Hill, Casey (Angie) Pope, Jeanette (Tim) Houston, and Richard (Nancy) Pope; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Anna Bieder; nephew, Jurgen (Anni) Bieder; great-nephews, Harald and Christian Bieder; one great-great nephew, Ben and one great-great niece, Ella.
Katharina was loved by everyone who knew her, and her family was everything to her.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
