Katherine A. Barker, 57, of Grove City, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009. Born to Charles and Joann (Greeno) Meldau in Columbus, OH on March 6, 1952, Kathy is preceded in death by her first husband, Denny Hockingberry. Survivors include her second husband, Roger Barker; daughter, Angie (Mark) Crego; sons, Steven Hockingberry and Dennis (Rachel Himmeger) Hockingberry; sisters, Christina and Linda; brothers, Timmy, Tommy, Ricky and Randy; grandchildren, Meghan, Madison, Steven Jr., Mason, Miley and Alexa; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kathy worked for GAP Inc for ten years. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 4, 2009, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
