Katherine Smith, 87, passed away on January 10, 2014 in Columbus, OH. She was born on October 11, 1926 in Gallatin, TN.
Katherine is preceded in death by her mother Ella Arms; her husband, William Smith; brothers, James and John Arms.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Darrell Estep; granddaughter Lindsey and her husband Peter Batchelder; and great granddaughters, Abigail and Ella Batchelder.
Katherine was a member of Northland Church of Christ.
A visitation for Katherine will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10:00am also at Newcomer Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6350 S. Hempstead Rd. Westerville, OH 43081.
