Kathleen Marie Leddy

Kathleen Marie Leddy, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. After a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease, she is now at rest.

Kathy was born on February 3, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio and from the very beginning she lived with a spirit full of strength and adventure.

She leaves behind her daughter, Alison Nielson (John) her son, Keith Wallace, her grandchildren Alyssa (Tuesday), Abigail, Madelyn, Keifer and Britney, her sister, Clara Hanf (Bill) and her ex‑husband and lifelong friend, Alan Wallace. She is also survived by many extended family members, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who loved her dearly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Traditions of Hilliard and National Church Residences Hospice, friends, and community members who supported Kathy, especially in her final years. Their compassion and companionship brought comfort and dignity to her journey.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. Visitation hours will be 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Service 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation or a charity meaningful to you, in honor of her unwavering strength.

Kathy will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her love, her humor, and the remarkable resilience that defined her life.
