Kathleen Pennell, 69, of Newark, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 8, 1946 in Columbus, daughter of the late Emeri and Leona Savage Meharry.
Kathleen was a school bus driver for Groveport with over 35 years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Roger (Toni) Pennell and Mat Pennell; sisters, Pam (Donald) Bryan and Shirley Pennell; grandchildren, Tyler, Madison and Gauge Pennell; great grandson, Lawrence J. Pennell; niece and nephews, Mark, Chris, Lisa and Jamie.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Jefferson Twp. Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430 Newark, OH 43058.
