Kathy Ann Siders, lovingly known to many as "Krazy Kate," passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 17, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, she led a life marked by vibrant passions, unwavering dedication to her family, and a spirit that brought joy to those around her.

Kathy’s career as a phone operator spanned many years at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Mount Carmel, where she was valued not only for her professionalism but also for her warm and compassionate demeanor. Beyond her work, Kathy was a woman of many talents and interests. She found immense joy and passion in dressing up and entertaining those around her; she never met a stranger she couldn't bring a smile to. Her love for fishing and the excitement of Hillbilly 500 racing revealed her adventurous side. An avid photographer and skilled face painter, Kathy found beauty in capturing moments and crafting smiles, especially among children.

Her playful nature came alive in the roles she cherished most—dressing as a clown and a blue fairy to entertain children at parties, local schools, and hospitals. These acts of kindness and creativity touched numerous lives and showcased her generous heart. A memorable highlight of her life was her appearance on The David Letterman Show in 1998 for hog calling, a testament to the unique and spirited individual she was. She found peace and solace in quiet moments, often visiting the beach or sitting on her porch to listen to thunderstorms, simple pleasures that spoke to her reflective soul.

Most of all, Kathy cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to William "Bill" Siders and a loving mother to her children Anna (Josh) Guhl, Jesse (Brandy) Siders, William "BJ" (Adara) Siders, and Justin Siders. Her grandchildren—Airianna Siders, Brayden Huggler, Kayleb Clark, William "Liam" Siders, Jourdyn Siders, Domynick "DJ" Siders, Jessa May Siders, Linkyn Siders, and Magnolia "Maggie" May Siders—brought immense joy to her life, and she treasured every moment spent in their company.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Bill of 46 years; her sister Helen Armstrong; her sister Nancy Stewart; her children and grandchildren as named above; and many friends and family who hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Grace Heath; her grandson Obsidian Guhl; a great-granddaughter; her sister Linda Proitsis; and her brother Randy Heath.

Throughout her life, Kathy Ann Siders touched many with her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love. She will be remembered fondly and deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy endures in the hearts of her family and the joyful memories she leaves behind.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the compassionate care and services provided by Zusman Hospice during their time of need.

A celebration of Kathy's wonderful life and immense spirit will be announced by the family at a later date.
