Katie R. Ross, 74, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Columbus, OH. She was born on April 24, 1942 in Gadsden, AL to David and Ruth Casby.
Katie is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Phillip (Susan) L. Casby; grandchildren, Teresa N. LeFevre-Casby, Joshua (Alexis) L. LeFevre-Casby, Jessica (Nicholas) R. Hess and Jonathon P. LeFevre-Casby; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Hannah, Devin and Micah; cousins, Andre Johnson, Latonia (George) Manns and Rita (Kenneth) Drayden; and a host of family and friends.
Katie worked for Nationwide Children's Hospital for 30 years until her retirement. She then became an associate at Wal-Mart, where she worked for many years. She was a member of Rock of Faith Baptist Church until the decline of her health. She enjoyed traveling, sports, music and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 followed by Funeral Services at 11:00am.
