Kazue Creasap

Kazue Creasap, 94, of Columbus, passed away on October 17, 2026 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born in Kiryu, Japan on December 29, 1931 to the late Yoshijiro and Cho Kurosawa. She married Arthur Creasap, and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2012.

Those left to cherish memories of Kazue include daughter, Gloria Mansfield; son, Marty (Brenda) Creasap; son-in-law, Steve Carver; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family members and friends.

Dear family members that preceded Kazue in death include daughter, Sandy Carver; son-in-law, Bruce Mansfield; grandsons, Jason Mansfield and George Creasap; her parents, and her siblings.

Kazue was formally a member of Jersey Baptist Church. She did attend services at The Avalon of New Albany, when she couldn’t make it to Jersey. She loved to sew, knit, crotchet, and garden. She was also a dedicated fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 12pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231.

A service to honor Kazue will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery – New Albany.
