Kea'Ton Kane Lenoir

November 28, 1992 — September 26, 2020

Kea'ton Kane Lenoir of Columbus, Ohio unexpectedly passed away in the early hours of Saturday September 26th, 2020 at the young age of 27.

He was born November 28th, 1992 in Kansas City, Kansas before relocating to Columbus, Ohio.

He was a recent grad of the Ohio State Barber College in Columbus, Ohio and was actively beginning his barber career throughout the city. His profession allowed him to live out his passion of giving back to his community in the best way he knew how, giving cuts to the youth, friends and family.

An avid sports fan, he loved cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs and Royals as well as his Ohio State Buckeyes every time they were playing and certainly let everyone know how HIS Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV this past year. We all know he bet on that game along with anything else he could, Kea'ton was the most confident gambler around and frequented the casino in his spare time. Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Detroit casinos all paid him some money at one time or another.

The one thing he enjoyed more than his teams, was time spent with his son, Kayden, Big Kane and Lil Kane as he would say, were inseparable and he lived for his little boy. Kea'ton Kane Lenoir is survived by his Son Kayden Kane Lenoir; Mother Ladonna Levine-Slayton; Dad Woody 'Big Dawg' Slayton; Sisters Kriston Slayton, Kellaiha Slayton, and Kami Jo Slayton; Brothers Kyle Stewart (Q) and Anthony Joseph Yannacey (AJ); Grandmother Betty Lenoir; Father Kea'ton Lenoir Sr., and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was loyal to his circle like no other but held a special place for his son, Kayden Kane Lenoir. His son was the most important thing in his life and he made it known with endless trips to arcades, parks, shopping trips, home videos and visits to grandmas house. His son was his anchor and often said 'Its us against the world son, know dad loves you until the end of time".

Kea'ton Kane Lenoir was a compassionate, selfless, and loyal individual to all who knew him. Although he is no longer with us he would not want us to be sad and grieving, he would want to be remembered for all the good times and endless memories he shared with everyone he came across. A slogan he would often mention in everyday life was "Barbeque or Boohoo", so let us all "barbeque" and celebrate him with the memories we've built over the years and honor Kea'ton Kane Lenoir like he would want.
