Raymond "Keith" Schmid, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 10th. He was born on March 9th, 1956 in Warminster, PA. He was an extraordinary man, and this loss will surely leave a hole in the hearts of many. Keith was known for spreading Joy to all he met with a constant smile and heartfelt hugs. A talented artist, musician, builder, and Eagle Scout, he lived life fully and with much passion, leaving an impression on everyone he touched. He is survived by his ever-loving mother, Mary Ellen Schmid, and his sister, Deborah Schmid Weathersbee (Joe), as well as his children, Leidra and Joshua Sunkle, his grandchildren, Keith and Lillian Sunkle, his companion Debra Fisher, and hundreds of loyal friends. Keith was a lover of all people, music and nature. He walked his path with positivity, spirituality and a lot of laughter. He would want us all to find peace as he moves on. All are welcomed to join in a Celebration of Keith's life, Saturday, September 24th, at Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio, at the Shelter house by the main building, from 1-5 PM.
