Kenel E. Kelly, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Kelly was born on April 18, 1927 in Flatgap, KY to Luther and Sarah (McKenzie) Kelly.
He served in the United States Army during World War II in Italy's Po Valley.
Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Agnes (Robert) Dudley; brother, Kenneth (Doris) Kelly; wife, Lucille (Griffith) Kelly; son, Michael Lee Kelly and special friend, Josephine Earley.
He is survived by his brother, Arvel (Eileen) Kelly; daughter, Judith Ann (David) Dildine; daughter-in-law, Margaret (Wayne) Thompson; granddaughters, Kimberley (Michael) Purcell, Sarah Kelly, April Sanders and Terri Dildine; great-granddaughters, Samantha Kelly and Laney Purcell and Danielle Sanders; great-grandson, Michael Sanders. He also has a great many nieces and nephews.
Kelly also had a huge group of friends that are too numerous to mention, but "you know who you are."
Kelly was a member of many organizations, but later in life, it was primarily the NAUS, American Legion Southway Post #144 and AMVETS Post #1312.
He was a truck driver his whole life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway with a brief military service at 3:45p.m, followed by the wake at AMVETS Post #1312, 3599 Lockbourne Rd., Columbus, OH 43207.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the name of Kenel Kelly to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
