Kenneth R. "Kenny" Martin, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home in New Albany, OH. He was born on June 14, 1938 in Newark, OH to Kenneth and Catherine Martin.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Dorothy Buffington; niece, Kris Reffett ; and aunt, Ginny (Emil) Celnar.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Martin; children, Tina (Bobby) Kountz, Kelly (B.J.) Low, Jeff (Sharon) Martin and Casey (Katie) Martin; grandchildren, Andrea (Rudy) Chaffin, Katie Kountz, Cody Martin, Sophie Low, Eryn Martin, Ryan Low, and Drew and Zach Delotell; great-grandchildren, Connor and Camden Chaffin; brother-in-law, Tom (Sheila) Buffington; niece, Laura Buffington; and cousins, Nancy (Guy) Brown and Ronnie (Janet) Celnar.
Kenny was a graduate from Holy Rosary High School, class of 1956.
Family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr. Columbus, OH 43229. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charity Newsies, 4300 Indianola Ave. Columbus, OH 43214 and St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr. Columbus, OH 43229 in Kenny's honor.
