Kermit Lee Ramey
May 5, 1938 — August 18, 2017
Kermit Ramey, age 79, passed away at home on August 18th while in the caring hands of his loving wife.
He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Anna May Ramey.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Ramey, his son Mark and his wife Ann, his daughter Cindy and her husband Jeff, his son Michael, and his younger brother Alvin Ramey who meant the world to him.
He also leaves behind his four grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Jacob, Nickalous, Kayla, and Canyon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Kermit retired from Lucent Technologies and then worked part time at Post Travel Land.
Kermit was a kind hearted man and to know him was to love him.
He will be missed by all who were blessed with being part of his life.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you send donations to the Capital Area Humane Society in his name.
It was here that he found his loving and loyal companions Sam and Charlie.
They brought him great joy and comfort.
Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be Friday August 25th from 11:00-1:00 PM, with the funeral beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Kingwood Memorial Park.
