Kirk Boyd

Kirk D. Boyd, 46, unexpectedly passed away March 31, 2016. Kirk is survived by newlywed wife of 18 months, Carolyn "Kay" Boyd; mother, Barbara Boyd; son, Jordan (Alicia Fravell) Boyd; grandson, Mason Boyd; brother, David Steele; best friend and fishing buddy, Jeff Scherrick; as well as Kay's children, Ross (Jennifer) Goodman and Rickey (Michael Fannin) Carter and their families. He was preceded in death by father, Albert "Mick" Boyd.

Kirk had 15 years of sobriety. His passion was playing softball and started playing as soon as he could walk. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Kirk was employed by Capital City Appliance Services. He also served in the Army when he was a young man. Kirk extended the lives of others by being an organ and tissue donor.

Visitation Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 3pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
