Klaus W. Parker, 54, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 30, 2013. Klaus was born in Cleveland OH on January 26, 1959, to Lamar H. and Maria E. (Warth) Parker and is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lamar R. Parker; beloved father-in-law, Casimir R. Buzenski.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara E. (Buzenski) Parker; daughter, Brittany E. Parker; son, Raymond L. Parker; sisters, Margaret (William) Montgomery and Constance (William) White; brother-in-law, Craig Franklin; nieces, Lisa (Mike Crawley) Franklin and Cybyl Franklin; lifelong friend, Danny Abbott Jr.
Klaus is also survived by his wife's daughter, Deborah (Phillip Jones) Lake and children, Spencer, Scottlynne, Rilynne and Jackson.
Additional survivors include his mother-in-law, Beatrice Buzenski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Colleen Buzenski, John and Karen Buzenski, Joanne and Mark Hawkins, Cathleen Buzenski, Robert and Eileen Buzenski, Jeanne and Jeff Daniels; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Klaus was a US Navy Veteran,a Columbus City Firefighter for 24 years, loving husband, father,brother,uncle and friend.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, January 5, 2014, 2-5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014, 11:00 AM at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6340 Hempstead Road, Westerville, OH 43081.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made at any Key Bank to help with college expenses for Brittany and Raymond.
