Kristine Lynn (Wernet) Jones, age 55, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at her home, surrounded by family. Born January 14, 1962 in Highland Park, MI.
Preceded in death by her mother, Judith Wernet.
Survived by devoted husband, Brad, father, Charles Wernet, sister, Denise (Jack) Gazza, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Gary Carter, sisters-in-law, Julie (Mark) Hartman and Tami (Fred) Staunton, nephew, Ryan Gazza, and nieces, Laura Gazza and Sarah Hartman.
Kristi loved the outdoors, spending hours gardening, bird-watching, photography and playing with her dogs, Yogi, Pete, and Banner. She was fiercely loyal to the Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue! She looked forward to vacationing on Northern Michigan lakes every summer. She loved working at Lombardi's.
Donations may be made in Kristi's memory to any animal shelter of choice.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in July.
