Kyle M. Parks

Kyle M. Parks, 19, 0f Columbus, OH, passed away March 28, 2014. He was born on August 29, 1994.

Kyle graduated in 2012 from Briggs High School with a concurrent Associates degree from DeVry University. While at Briggs, Kyle was a member of the Briggs Bruins football team. He was a member of his church's youth group and enjoyed attending the Ichthus Festival (Christian music festival) for many years. He was a pizza engineer at the Flying Pizza on Bethel Road prior to attending West Virginia University. Kyle was currently enrolled at Columbus State Community College pursuing a degree in computer engineering. Kyle loved the sport of rugby, video games, and hanging out with his friends.

Surviving family includes, parents, Emily (Kuhner) and Ted Carpenter, and Jason Parks; sisters, Kelsey Parks, Michelle (Carpenter) and Andrew Rose; grandparents, Peggy (Hensley) and Ed Barnes, Paul Gregory and Pam Kuhner; great-grandmother, Etta Lou (Kuhner) and Gary Parks; uncles, James Gregory Kuhner, Harrison Parsley and John Parks, and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 12-4pm, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
