Kymberli DeniseYoung, 56, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away July 10, 2020.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 14, 1963 to Roland (Jane) Mullins and Joanne Spain.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Odell Young; mother, Joanne Spain; grandfather, Jess Young; uncles, Tony and Bobby; and family dog Scoby Young.
Surviving family includes her father, Roland (Jane) Mullins; daughter, Chyna Lanise Young; granddaughter, London; siblings, Arnold (Adele) Young, Carmen Young, Georgina (Doug) Garrison, Roland Flournoy; niece, Alexis Young; nephew, Doug, Brett; as well as many other loving extended family and friends.
Kym was a 1981 graduate of East High School in Columbus, OH and Columbus State Community College, graduating in September of 2009 with a Law Enforcement Associates of Applied Science Degree. For the last 25 years she worked as a Phlebotomist for Quest Diagnostics.
She will always be remembered as the "life of the party". Her need for organization and cleanliness is unmatched.
Kym was an avid line dancer and the best cook in the family.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Kym was there for her family and friends in whatever capacity they needed. She was always willing to help and lend a listening ear.
Kym was loved by all and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in procession to Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
