Landrum Johnson

February 24, 1927 — November 5, 2014

Landrum David Johnson, 87, passed away November 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Henry and Mary Elizabeth Johnson; wife, Zora Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Zoë Wallen. Dave is survived by children, Caroll (Rob) Stewart, David (Ellen) Johnson and Gary (Nancy) Johnson; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Dave married Zo in 1944 and was drafted that year to the Army. He served in Germany during WWII. After leaving the Army, he moved to Columbus where he worked at Timkin Rollerbearing for 15 years. Retired from Alright Parking in 1992. He also came to know the Lord as his Savior in 1992 and read the Bible through every year after that. Dave was honest, hard working and faithfully provided for his family.

Visitation Monday, November 10, 2014 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Dave's great-grandaughter, Zoë to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, OH 43216-6810.
