Larry Hall, 78, of Columbus, passed away May 29, 2018.
Larry was born October 2, 1939 to Lance and Edith (Bennett) Hall.
He was a devout member of Vineyard Columbus. Larry enjoyed golfing, softball, basketball and playing pool. He was a devoted Ohio State Buckeye, New York Yankees, and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. Larry was a member of the Columbus, Ohio Softball Hall of Fame and the Williamson, West Virginia Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also the starting second baseman on the American Legion baseball team that took second place in the nation during his high school years.
He was married to Judith (Rust) for 53 years.
Larry will be deeply missed by his wife; children Shelly Lane; grandchildren Jessica Lane; brothers Jack Hall and Michael Hall along with many other family members and friends.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister Phyllis and his beloved grandson Zach.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2pm at Vineyard Columbus 6000 Cooper Road, Westerville, OH 43081 with Pastor Ron Hitchcock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his favorite charities St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.
