Larry L. "Pops" Halterman, 68, passed away on February 10, 2019. He was born on August 31, 1950 in Columbus, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Edna Halterman, sisters, Marjorie Halterman Dillon, Jean Halterman Ochoa, brothers, Preston Jr., Curtis, Sonny, Robert, James.
Survived by wife, Dreama Frye Halterman, sons, Aaron, Paul, Luke, daughters, Elizabeth (Kyle) Schmidt, Sarah Halterman, Jane Marie Hagley, grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas, Ava, Aaron, Alex, Holden, Corinne, brother, Fred Halterman and special friend, Ruth Miller.
Larry was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. He loved karaoke and was an avid reader, member of the American Legion Post # 532, lifetime member of the VFW # 3426, member of the NAUS and the Army Navy Garrison.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4pm, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where military honors will be conducted at 4pm.
