Larry E. Hammond

Larry E. Hammond, age 78, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, August 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Millersport, OH to the late William and Iva (Wilcox) Hammond. He was preceded in death by eleven siblings.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Sally (Waugh) Hammond; his children, Kim (Doug) McDaniel, Mark (Barb) Hammond, and Kelly (Daniel) Rizzonelli; grandchildren, Zack (Mallory) McDaniel, Jeremy (Mani) McDaniel, Jessica (Jason) Lambie, and Anthony Rizzonelli; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Lola, and Collin McDaniel; sister, Sandy Bethel; and special nephew, Kyle Shipley.
Visitation Thurs., Aug. 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Fri., Sept., 1, 2017 at 10am at the Funeral Home, with Minister Danny Vanscoy officiating. Interment to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, OH.
