Larry Eugene Mattes

Larry Eugene Mattes, age 78, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was born in Columbus, OH on December 14, 1939 to the late Earl and Geraldine Mattes.
After high school, Larry proudly served his country as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Marine Corp. Larry retired after a long career as a truck driver with the Teamsters.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Linda; children, Toni (Paul) Grice, Larry Mattes, II, Kim Dick; step children, Rhonda Deeds, Kathy Scurlock, Cindy Hummel, Lisa Taylor and Amy Kane, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie Lisk.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the memorial service will be held following at 6:00pm.
