Laura "Jeannie" Reynolds, 80, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Jeannie was born in Columbus, OH on September 7, 1935, to the late Thomas W. and Gladys (Shimp) Phillis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph H. Reynolds; daughters, Kim R. Bryson and Pamela K. (Michael) Matney; sisters, Wanda Mitchell and Ruth Porter; grandchildren, Laura J. Bryson, Paul D. Bryson, Todd Landrie, Robert Landrie; great-grandchildren, Benjamin T. Bryson, Oneita Bryson, Mycah Landrie, Autumn Landrie, Robbie Landrie; nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was a graduate of East High School where she lettered in basketball, worked at the "Top of the Center" where she was referred to as a "Stouffer Girl" and taught Sunday School at Woodland Heights Baptist Church for many years.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 11 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Sunbury Road, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
