Laura Jane Stein, beloved daughter, mother, sister, fiancée, and friend, passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on July 4, 1975, Laura was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her, known for her kindness, infectious humor, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. She had a remarkable ability to light up a room with her smile, offering support and love to those fortunate enough to be in her company.
Laura was a dedicated friend who cherished her relationships dearly. She especially enjoyed spending her free time at the beach with friends, sharing laughter and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her love for her dogs, Macy and Mocha, was evident, as they brought her endless joy. A true enthusiast of Buckeyes football, Laura also delighted in attending concerts with her girlfriends, where her spirit truly shone.
Laura took great pride in her daughter, Patricia Rae (Peter Wall) Stein, whom she held close to her heart. She fostered a strong bond with her sister, Kim (Vince) Vance, and was lovingly supported by her fiancé, Chris Norviel. Laura enriched the lives of many with her caring nature and dedication to those she loved, including her close friends Trina Welminger, Missy Smith, Vicki Stevens, and Tracy Stedman. The larger Hill family and many other relatives are also mourning her loss, reflecting the deep connections she nurtured throughout her life.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Peck, and her mother, Patricia Hill. Though her absence will be profoundly felt, her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire those left behind.
Friends and family are invited to honor her memory during the visitation on November 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by her funeral service from 12:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. She will be laid to rest at Grove City Cemetery.
Laura Jane Stein's spirit will remain alive in the hearts of all who loved her. She was truly a remarkable woman whose impact on the world will not be forgotten.
