Lawrence "Larry" Hoover, 81, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at St. Ann's.
He was born August 11, 1933 in Maricopa County, AZ, son of the late Francis and Linnie May Darby Hoover.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Veda Hoover; daughter, Cindy Jo Hoover; grandchildren, Robert Hoover and Josette Marie Smith; sister, Dorothy Zimmerman.
He served in the Air Force and Navy.
Larry is survived by his children, Ranee` Drew, Bonnie Crawford and William R. Hoover; special friend, Gladys Byers and eight grandchildren.
Inurnment will be in Blendon Central Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
