Lawrence J. "Larry" Lyons, 72, of Westerville, passed away at Kobacker House on February, 13, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born in Columbus, OH on August 10, 1941, to Timothy and Mary (Miller) Lyons and is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Linda Lyons; brother, Mike Lyons; wife's son, Jamie Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Franklin Lyons; children, Lisa Lyons, Chris Lyons, Teresa Wood; Margaret's children, Jeff (Peggy) Franklin, Michelle (Phil) Johnson, Mike (Teri) Franklin, Marcia Dennis; brothers, Anthony Lyons; aunt, Sister Justine Lyons; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Larry retired from the City of Columbus after 30 plus years of service and was also a member of the New Albany Church of the Nazarene.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Albany Nazarene Church, 6000 Johnstown Road, New Albany, OH on February 22, 2014, 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214.
