Lawrence Edward Shaver, age 69, of Grove City, OH passed away on September 29, 2018 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. Larry was born June 4, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to parents, Thomas R. and Faye M. (Sullivan) Shaver, both deceased.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan (Springer) Shaver; sons, Geoffrey (Allison) and Kevin Shaver; 3 granddaughters; siblings, Thomas (Lori), Teresa (Richard), Margaret, Patricia, and James; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He was family focused and loved his family more than anything. Larry loved to walk on the boardwalk in Ocean City with Susan. He will be missed by all, but not forgotten. A special thank you to the Mount Carmel West CVICU medical team.
Gathering of family and friends on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from 1pm until the time of Memorial Service at 3pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3933 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Private interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Commemorative Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, PO Box 16810, Columbus, OH 43272-5117 or the charity of your choice.
